Attending an Airports Council International Asia Pacific Regional Security Committee in May 2012 offered an opportunity to explore Singapore. We had visited Singapore previously so this was a second trip and were staying at Marina Bay Sands. I transited through Singapore a couple of more times during overseas trips and stopped overnight for a break.
We had toured the city previously taking in Orchard Road shopping, the botanic gardens, China town, travelled the subways, and sampled the great food offerings.
The Marina Bay Sands was a most impressive facility with roof top infinity edge pool with magnificent views over the harbour and city-scape. There was also a roof top lounge for breakfasts and afternoon treats as you took in the views.
