Just alerting you to a recently posted video on our new YouTube channel of “Retirement Reimagined – Thailand: Rural Retired Life” @ R/Ace Country Cottage. We live on a rural Thai country property outside the town of That Phanom, located on the Mekong River in Nakhon Phanom Province.
Check out this video – It is an update on some DIY home improvement projects undertaken over the past couple of weeks. This involved assembling flatpack furniture, building a trellis over the front walkway, installing a couple of artificial garden hanging walls to dress up the outdoor kitchen and back porch areas.
It also includes a trip to Mukdahan to arrange for a larger project to install a metal Gazebo and swing set in the yard, creating another relaxed sitting, chilling area. The video gives more details on what is planned for the garden.
A reminder, this new channel covers the rural Thai retired lifestyle we enjoy in our new home. The content is random, occasional, & covers simple day-to-day life activities, our local & regional travel, house projects and gardening, as well as other activities we get involved with in the community. It’s a place to share stories about daily living in a rural lifestyle. Videos will be random, nothing routine, depending on the content worth sharing.

I read somewhere about a coffee shop in Nakhon Phanom that had a couple of new cabins for rent out the back . Do have the address for this ?
I am travelling to mukdahan at the end of the week to meet a couple of builders . Exciting times ahead
