For the 1st anniversary of our new home, we decided to create a photo book featuring photos and a narrative of the 36-week build, including the YouTube thumbnailsfor each week’s video series. I wanted to create a memento of our project to look back on & to reminisce about. It is a good medium for showing people whether they have any questions about the build. I have had one copy printed in book format as a keepsake.

The book showcases the transition from raw land (Foundation) to our dream retirement haven (Forever), visually shows a 9-month build journey our Thai Country Cottage in That Phanom. This 42-page photo journal captures the incredible transformation from March to December 2024. Scroll through the pages to see how we turned a vision into our retirement home. The photos highlight the key construction phases, from groundbreaking to final finishing touches, through the hot and rainy seasons, culminating in the finished home.
