The Consulate is advised that a remembrance service will take place on 11 November at the Chiang Mai Foreign Cemetery 1898 (its on google map) –
ALL WELCOME. Guests are invited to meet from 10.15 – The service starts at 10.45 with a minutes silence at 11am and laying of remembrance wreaths. CM Foreign Cemetery FB for details
While we couldn’t have an ANZAC Day Service this year due to COVID, we can come together for Remembrance Day.
This year also commemorated the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. There will also be an Exhibition commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain with tribute to Airmen and Airwomen from many countries who gave their lives during the Second World War.
Light refreshments will be served at the Gymkhana Club afterwards.
