A number of enquiries are being made with the Consulate in Chiang Mai about vaccinations in Thailand. This post shares information available on the Australian Embassy Bangkok website: https://thailand.embassy.gov.au/…/COVID19_vaccinations…
The Consulate in Chiang Mai has no further information other than what is at this link & below. We are not involved in vaccination matters:
Are you a 75 or older Australian?
-The Australian Embassy in Bangkok has a limited opportunity to provide contact details of Australian Citizens, 75 years or older, to the Thai Government for potential priority access to get vaccinated against COVID-19. If interested, please register via the following link by 17:00 on Tuesday 13 July 2021 (Bangkok Time): https://docs.google.com/…/1FAIpQLSftRm8zP3…/viewform…
* Important Notice *
Registering an Expression of Interest (EOI) does NOT guarantee access to a COVID-19 vaccine.
The Bangkok Embassy will not have any control over the dates or venues for vaccinations, nor the type of vaccine used; this is at the discretion of the Thai Public Health Ministry.
Registrations close 17:00 on Tuesday 13 July 2021 (Bangkok Time), and will not be accepted after this time. By submitting an EOI you agree to the Australian Embassy in Thailand collecting, using and disclosing your information for the purpose of arranging a COVID-19 vaccine. This includes sharing your information with Thai authorities and hospitals/ medical facilities.
CHIANG MAI Province – Vaccine Registration & Information
There is a good Facebook page to stay informed on vaccination news for the Province of Chiang Mai, called – COVID International Community Support CM – https://www.facebook.com/covid.int.cm
You can register for Thai Government offered vaccinations as set out in the post – https://www.facebook.com/covid.int.cm/posts/319328406300221
When registering you will receive a number, but will have to wait for notification of a date to receive a vaccine. I am aware that many have registered and are still waiting for an appointment notification. You will have to be patient and wait for the Thai Ministry of Health to notify you. Time frames are unknown.
Currently while vaccinations are taking place in Chiang Mai, dose allocation can be limited here and is being priortised to the Provinces/areas with the most Covid cases.
Other Northern Provinces
It is suggested you discuss vaccination options with your local doctor or hospital.
