The new fee schedule is available on the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s website. Notarial fees have not increased since 1 July 2000.

From 2018 onwards, notarial service fees will increase annually in line with the Consumer Price Index published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Notarial fees are legislated according to the Consular Fees Act 1955 and consular staff has no discretion in applying these fees.
